Q: Can I convert my car to LPG and have no problems?
A: The problem with LPG is because it is dry fuel and does run hotter combustion temperatures, this does cause excessive wear on seats, valves and guides. Your cylinder head can be converted to run on LPG by fitting hardened seats, stellite exhaust valves and bronze guides.
Q: Can I have my engine or cylinder head reconditioned and fitted by your company?
A: As we are a machine shop strictly set up to recondition engines and cylinder heads we do not offer in house fitting. We can however recommend one of the many mechanics in our area to help with the fitting needs.
Q: Can I increase the power output of my engine?
A: Yes, we can help with performance modification including stroker kits, which increase cubic capacity, by changing crank, rods and piston. We can also fit bigger valves, springs and even porting and polishing for increased flow. We can also supply performance cams to suit your individual needs.
